An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character, released only in the best vintages. Opaque ruby, with an explosive perfumed nose of red and dark berries, cedar, asian spices, and candied licorice. Impressively fresh. Elegant on the palate, structured, and nicely concentrated, the flavours offer considerable complexity of red fruits and minerals, with smooth supple tannins. A delicious, full and long finish.

Many of the vines here pre-date phylloxera and were planted by Don Nicanor Manso de Zúñiga, the Count of Hervías.
